- • Ability for the user, for the most part, to individually adjust the text size
- • Colour contrasts are, for the most part, adequate
- • Product images, for the most part, accompanied by meaningful text descriptions
- • Content, for the most part, free of rapid image sequences that can cause visual impairments
- • Use, for the most part, of descriptive titles for the pages
- • Clear and consistent navigation structures
- • Error messages and suggestions are mostly clear to facilitate the correction of inputs
- • Using semantic HTML structures and appropriate ARIA roles
Furthermore, dedicated features are constantly updated to ensure an ever-improving experience for all users.
Content not accessible
The iblues.it website partially conforms with the UNI CEI EN 301549 harmonised standard. With particular reference to the requirements listed in Annex A of UNI CEI EN 301549, the following content is not yet accessible:
- • Non-text content: many images do not have a descriptive text alternative or have a text alternative that simply provides the file name
- • Info and relationships: many pages have incorrect or missing heading structures, and many error messages are not correctly associated with their corresponding form fields
- • Use of colour: some elements exclusively use colour to differentiate or convey a status, such as in the case of checkboxes or focus indicators
- • Contrast for non-text content: there is insufficient contrast between the colour and background for many graphic elements, including icons, borders and focus indicators
- • Contrast for text content: there is insufficient contrast with the background for many text elements, including error messages and the text of input fields
- • Resize text: some content is lost or cut off when the page is enlarged to 200%
- • Keyboard access: several interactive components, such as buttons, links and modal windows, cannot be reached or activated using only the keyboard
- • Focus order: focus is not always managed correctly and is not properly trapped when modal windows or other dynamic content are displayed
- • Link purpose: several links have the same label or are announced identically, without providing a clear indication of their purpose. Some are incorrectly announced, and others in a different way but leading to the same destination
- • Headings and labels: some buttons are announced without being clearly associated with their function
- • Focus visible: some interactive controls do not have a visible focus indicator
- • Label in name: some interactive elements do not include the visible label within the element’s accessible name
- • On input: a pop-up form has been implemented which interrupts normal navigation of the page
- • Error identification: in the case of some form fields, no error messages are displayed when they are skipped or filled in incorrectly
- • Labels or instructions: some input fields do not have a label that remains visible
- • Name, role and status of interactive elements: many elements (buttons and links) do not have appropriate labels, roles or status information
- • Status messages: in some cases, important information such as status or error messages are not communicated by screen readers
Dedimax s.r.l. has initiated a structured continuous improvement programme aimed at gradually resolving the issues identified, focusing particularly on new content and on the most frequently visited sections of the website.
The programme involves scheduled accessibility reviews as well as an in-house training course, which has already been launched, aimed at designers, developers and all the departments involved in website management and development, with the goal of promoting a fully accessible approach.
